JOHN FORNAROTTO, M.D.

John Fornarotto, M.D. attended Cornell University in upstate New York for his undergraduate studies, graduating in 1979 With Distinction in All Subjects and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He then went to medical school at Tulane University in New Orleans, receiving his MD in 1983. From there, he headed north to Michigan for an internship in general surgery at the Detroit Medical Center, and remained there to pursue his specialty training in ophthalmology at the Kresge Eye Institute.

After several more years living and working in Michigan, he and his wife decided to move to Idaho to open Pocatello Eye Center in May 1994. Taking over the practices of two local retiring ophthalmologists, he has established a successful, growing practice of his own. His scope of practice includes treatment of medical and surgical diseases of the eye, specializing in Small-Incision, No-Stitch Cataract Surgery, treatment of glaucoma, and lid surgery.

On behalf of my staff and myself, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for having chosen our office for your eye care. Welcome!
